Strategic Marketing & Messaging for Interior Designers Who Want to Get Found, Trusted, & Hired by the Right Clients

You don’t have to be invisible to the clients you really want. You just need the right message and a strategy that lets them see it.

At Deb Mitchell Co, we don’t hand you a generic marketing strategy and wish you luck. Nor do we expect you to bring us all the ideas. You’re not here to become a marketer, and we’re not here to make you one.

Instead, we lead the strategy, shape the message, and carry the implementation, while staying closely aligned to your unique vision and goals every step of the way.

From brand messaging and copywriting to visibility strategy and full-service marketing for interior designers, we build a custom system that reflects your expertise and connects you with the right people so you can move your design business forward with clarity, confidence, and clients who get it!

Curious what this kind of messaging and strategy looks like in action?

MEET DEB MITCHELL

The Messaging & Marketing Expert Who Gets Interior Designers

A woman with blonde hair and glasses smiling while standing at a conference table with a laptop, notebooks, and electronic devices in a well-lit modern room with a large gold chandelier.

I didn’t start out in marketing; I started inside a luxury interior design firm.

Before that, I earned a literature degree, studied persuasive writing and journalism, and nurtured my deep love for art, language, and beauty. Years later, all of that came together in the form of a position as an in-house communications manager for a high-end interior design firm.

Taking client calls and translating the value of design into language that landed with prospects taught me everything: what clients don’t understand, what they need to hear, and how the right choice of words can build trust that turns inquiries into incredible projects and amazing client relationships.

Today, I bring the same insights, strategies, and care to designers around the country. Helping you say what matters, show up where it counts, and get found by the people who want what you do best is my greatest joy!

You’ve mastered your craft. You’re building a design business with vision. But you shouldn’t have to become a marketing expert just to get seen by your ideal clients. That’s my job.

I’m here to lead the strategy, shape your message, and build a marketing system that reflects your brilliance, and helps the right clients find you, trust you, and choose you.

It’s Not Just Messaging. It’s How Everything Changes.

The designers I work with aren’t just looking for help writing better words. They’re looking for a way to be seen: a message that resonates, a presence that reflects their value, and a marketing strategy that puts them in front of the clients they actually want to work with.

That’s why I don’t just write website copy. I help you:

  • Clarify your message so it’s authentic to you and attract the right clients

  • Position your design business to reflect and support your value, pricing, process, and goals

  • Build visibility in ways that are strategic, aligned, and never performative

When those pieces all come together, you don’t just sound better. You get chosen by the right clients for the right reasons.

And that’s when everything changes for you and your business.

A FEW KIND WORDS FROM OUR CLIENTS…

“Do you know how hard it is to write about yourself and your business? Deb made it easy - she really got to know me and was able to convey everything to our audience. We had a great experience and I’ve even gotten more leads with the updated content.”

— Suzy Watkins, Sterling Design Group

“Working with Deb was an incredible experience! Her process was thoughtful, collaborative, and truly insightful (plus she is one of the sweetest and kindest people ever). She acted as my strategic partner who understands how to communicate value to the right audience. 100% worth the investment!”

— Melissa Fields, Shades of Gray Design Studio

“I hired Deb before I jumped into a whole re-branding and website creation effort so she could help me hone in on and articulate what really sets me apart in the industry. She listened to me, saw me, and reflected my company back to me from a different perspective. She gave me the building blocks and language I needed before I did anything else. Highly recommend!”
