STRATEGIC MESSAGING & MARKETING FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS

YOUR DREAM DESIGN CLIENTS, DELIVERED.

Lots of people offer copy.
Fewer offer clarity.
Even fewer offer a strategy that connects POSITIONING, MESSAGING, and VISIBILITY as one aligned marketing system for interior designers.

And that’s exactly what I do.

You’ve poured your time, talent, and energy into building a design business that’s polished and professional through and through…

Yet you still feel like the best projects and clients are passing you by.

You’re not here to work twice as hard for clients who question your value, second-guess your expertise, or ghost you when it’s time to sign the contract.

You’re here to do the design work you love for clients who trust you, pay you well, and tell everyone they know how amazing you are.

I help interior designers bridge the gap between what you know you’re capable of and what your prospects actually see. We’ll refine your positioning, sharpen your messaging, and dial in your visibility so your dream clients find you easily and feel ready to say ‘yes’ to you before they ever reach out.

Let’s work together to help you say what matters, show up where it counts, and get found, trusted, and hired by the clients you really want!

THE TRUTH IS, YOU’VE NEVER BEEN TOLD HOW TO MARKET YOUR INTERIOR DESIGN BUSINESS EFFECTIVELY

You’ve heard it before: Designer A lands all their clients just by posting on social media. Designer B has a full pipeline because they know all the right people.

But whether or not those stories are true, they don’t offer you a clear, repeatable way to market your interior design business.

Because while social media has its place, and referrals are a lovely bonus when they happen, real businesses don’t rely on luck, algorithms, or other people’s whims.

As a talented interior designer and savvy business owner, treating your marketing like an afterthought won’t get you where you want to go.

You need strategic marketing rooted in the nuances of the design industry and tailored to your unique vision, goals, and strengths.

That’s where I come in.

Together, we craft clear, intentional marketing that puts you in control of your message and your visibility. And with our implementation support, you get an all-in-one solution that gets you in front of the right people with a message that feels true to who you are, building trust with your dream clients before you even get on the discovery call.

Meet Deb

My approach is rooted in one belief: When you start showing up in the right places online with the right trust-building messaging, everything changes.

You’re already doing beautiful, high-level work. But here’s what I know: If your messaging and marketing aren’t making that clear in all the right places, your ideal clients might never see it.

That’s where I come in. I help interior designers who are ready for bigger, better projects by shaping trust-building messaging that aligns with their goals and positions them in front of the right clients.

By elevating your entire brand presence, I help get you in the room with the clients you’re meant to serve. Now how does that sound?!

    FAQs

    • So. Many. Things.

First of all, I’ve worked inside a design firm so I know how your potential clients think and I know how to talk to them to create a successful relationship between designer and client based on trust.

Next, I focus on the entire marketing puzzle for my clients–messaging, websites, social media, in-person networking–to make sure they’re successful, instead of just taking care of one or two pieces.

Furthermore, my process is comprehensive. In fact, my clients describe it as more like a mix of marketing strategy, business coaching, and full-service implementation, with a little therapy thrown in. And that’s exactly what I’m looking to provide because I know it’s what designers need and deserve!

I believe in my methods and philosophies with all my heart, mind, and soul and it’s the privilege of a lifetime to be able to share them with my incredible clients!

    • This is truly the million-dollar question in our industry, and it really never goes away, no matter how long you’ve been in business.

The short answer is you need to get found by your ideal clients and earn their trust.

That said, there’s a lot that goes into making those two things happen:

      • Nailing your website and brand messaging

      • Building an online presence (including the right SEO, social media, and blog content) that gets you in front of your prospects and drives them to your site

      • Creating an enticing email subscription for those prospects so you can collect their email addresses and send them the warmest, juiciest email marketing ever so that when they have a project, they already know you’re for them and they’re for you.

Yes, it’s a long game, but it works, and it’s the only way to build a reliable, repeatable flow of qualified clients that grow your design business in the way you want it to.

If what you need is quick cash right now to get your bills paid so you can keep your doors open a little longer, that’s another story. While you can’t sustainably run your business that way, the reality is, there are times when it’s what we’re up against.

If that’s the case, or if you just want to know more about this topic as a whole, please head to my Resources page and grab a copy of How to Get Clients As An Interior Designer: The Definitive Guide.

    • I’m very clear with my clients about the fact that no marketing efforts can completely transform their business overnight.

In our work together, we’ll begin making meaningful, lasting changes right away. Then we’ll strategically and systematically add to their transformed brand presence over the course of 6 or 12 months as we nurture its effectiveness.

Typically, our clients begin seeing improvement in the quality and frequency of inquiries almost as soon as we make changes on their sites, but it’s reasonable to expect to see a change within six months or so.

    • Just as your clients may not love hearing, “It depends,” in answer to their questions about the cost of their design projects, you might not like my answer to this question!

But it truly does depend on what you have going on in your design business currently and (most importantly) what you’re looking to achieve.

If what you’re looking for is a transformation or uplevel in the quality and/or quantity of clients and projects you’re attracting, and your current brand presence isn’t set up for that, your project may be more involved.

If, however, you’re close to achieving your goals for the clients and projects you’re looking to attract, but you just need an extra (expert!) push to get you over the hump, your project might be a little simpler and need less from me and my team.

The same might be true if you have a team of your own to handle implementation but you just need our expertise to give you the right strategy.

That all said, our project fees range widely with our initial consultations starting at $1,500, then our 1:1 strategy and implementation service ranging anywhere from $12,000-$50,000+).

We try to provide help for everyone, including our expert resources ranging from $0-$250+ and our group program for newer designers (see details and current pricing here).

    • Whenever possible, we love to handle adding your new copy to your site ourselves so you don’t have to worry about it. This is baked into our service pricing and our team is equipped to work on most major website platforms (i.e. WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc.).

Because posting on social media is an ongoing effort that requires some real-time engagement, we recommend you outsource this to an in-house team member or bring on a virtual assistant for this purpose. We have an amazing resource that offers VAs just for interior designers if you need help finding someone.
